We are looking for a Real Estate Assistant to join our team who will be responsible for working with the Property Management team in managing all aspects of an industrial real estate portfolio, including marketing, operations, and facilities management in accordance with the real estate management agreements and policies.

You will assist in overseeing property repair work and maintenance to market industrial properties for lease. This includes coordinating and documenting repair work from beginning to completion. You will document all property details and maintain property profiles via our web-based property management system and update property listings to organize and post to various MLS services. Additionally, you will help in producing building brochures used for marketing. On a regular basis you will maintain and update the database with leads from prospective tenants and brokers.

Responsibilities

· Address prospective tenant queries and schedule appointments

· Make follow-up calls to garner interest and secure buildings tours

· Inspect buildings/property to detect malfunctions and needed repairs to management

· Schedule and oversee vendor work to completion, i.e. (electrical, clean up, janitorial services, special projects, HVAC and roof repairs), insure building broom clean ready for tenant move in

· Schedule routine equipment maintenance on building systems and property, i.e., fire monitoring, solar, roof, HVAC, parking lot, dock drains, fencing/walls and loading doors

· Facilitate work orders for service-related issues and communicate efforts between vendor and tenant.

· Assist in preparing real estate documents and forms

· Coordinate building tours with brokers and prospective tenants

· Maintain electronic and print records of properties

· Prepare, post, and update property listings

· Maintain and manage a database of clients

· Walk throughs for move-ins and move-outs

· Perform clerical duties when required

· Help with the preparation of listing agreements

· Qualify references and other pertinent lease details

· Create and distribute real estate brochures and other marketing materials

· Handle online and offline property listings and advertisements

· Take photos of properties for marketing, construction or needed repairs to determine necessary scope of work

· Coordinate leasing sign distribution and placement on available properties

· Gather necessary information about properties for lease

· Collect and coordinate deposits

· Assist clients on property search based on their needs, financial standing and credit worthiness

· Interface and communicate with multiple municipalities and or code enforcement to ensure that all buildings are in compliance with city code

· Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

Requirements

· AA, BA/S or equivalent work experience

· 2-5 years of experience in the Real Estate industry

· Basic knowledge of real estate industry trends and best practices a plus

· Strong communication and team work skills

· Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $38.00 per hour
