Purpose

This position contributes to the company success by providing administrative and project management support to the US R&D, GRD, and Chiesi USA groups.

Main Responsibilities

  • Acts as a direct liaison between the Company representatives, external customers and/or ex- US Company colleagues.
  • Provides full and diversified administration support to the US R&D and GRD teams.
  • Assists the team by coordinating timelines and handling project coordination.
  • Coordinate large meetings as requested
  • Manages ground transportation for members of the local US R&D and GRD teams
  • Assists with contract review, tracking and approvals
  • Prepare expense reports for applicable team members
  • Code monthly invoices and route to Accounts Payable
  • Create Purchase Requisitions and Services Entry Sheets in SAP
  • Complete monthly open Purchase Order reports
  • Provide back up support for identified R&D processes (e.g., unblinded safety submissions)
  • Serves as a member of the Administrative Team (A-Team) and acts as back-up to the Front Desk Coordinator and other Local Admins
  • Manage relationship with office supply vendor
  • Work with A-Team to ensure successful visits for R&D guests (internal and external) to the Cary office
Experience Required

  • 1+ years relevant experience, pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe.
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage and maintain a professional, friendly, and efficient operation at all times.
  • High degree of collaboration, flexibility, and loyalty.
  • Superior communication skills coupled with the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment and multi-task effectively.
Education
B.A./B.S. degree preferred
