What You'll Be Doing:

• Working closely with the Production team inspecting materials and products to meet internal and external specifications
• Documenting any production issues with materials, production process, and/or machinery
• Testing PCBs with measuring tools, machines, and/or microscopes and recording results on travelers
• Interact and handle caustic chemicals
• Complete required inspection and testing through various stages of manufacturing to final inspection
• Will be required to collect and analyze data to be presented to management team
• Follow all safety and operational guidelines for handling products, operating machinery, and promote a safe working environment
• Adhere to the Somacis Quality Policy

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• Successful candidates are expected to be motivated, adaptable, innovative, responsible and produce quality results
• 2-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand customer specifications, prints and other related documents to ensure products meet quality standards
• Must have experience with working with measuring tools and testing equipment
• Organized and detailed oriented to inspect products through various stages of the manufacturing process and maintaining internal/customer documentation
• Analytical thinking to analyze and determine root cause for production errors or product failure
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both orally and written
• Perform basic mathematical calculations
• Familiarity with AS9100, AS9102, IPC 6010 is a plus
• Qualified applicants must hold U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Resident, Asylee or Refugee Status (ITAR Requirement)

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and talk or hear
• The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to move around the facility and production floor
• Physical endurance to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
• Listening skills to gather and process requests and respond accordingly
