Currently, MPG is seeking to hire experienced Pressroom QA Supervisor for our location at 4301 Waterleaf Ct, Greensboro, NC 27410. If you possess the required skills and experience as outlined below, please submit your resume for consideration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and maintain a system of checks and measurements to ensure the pressroom environment facilitates optimal performance and quality.
• Ensure that sufficient process checks are in place to support consistent and predictable quality and productivity.
• Establish and maintain an inspection process to ensure that incoming raw materials meet specifications.
• Provide support and accountability to all QA personnel.
• Individually follow and promote all safety policies and procedures.
• Trouble shoot pressroom issues and institute permanent corrective action to prevent recurrence of defects.
• Conduct post project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements for future improvement.
• Build trust across the organization and develops strong working relationships among internal and external suppliers and customers.
• Stay abreast of production management best practices, methods, and technologies. Create an audit process to ensure that critical pressroom procedures and quality checks are maintained.
• Evaluate and implement best practices and technology to improve quality and productivity.
• Establish and maintain metrics for safety, quality, schedule attainment, and productivity in a daily management framework.
• Provide operator training and ongoing support to continually improve the competency of pressroom staff.
• Ensure effective quality checks are in place and that inspection findings result in effective corrective action.
• Schedule for this position is flexible, with the expected hours being 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 10 years managing pressroom operations with the highest standards for quality.
• Demonstrated ability to drive effective change in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive knowledge of current pressroom technology and best practices for process control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts.
• Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
• Ability to understand and speak Spanish is a plus.
