Description:Reports to: Responsible for ensuring quality of manufactured goods from delivery to final product by continually assessing process and recommending improvements. As, the Quality Supervisor you will train employees, triage tasks appropriately, communicate daily product standards, customer expectations, expedite resolutions to any customer concerns that may arise, and oversee quality management programs.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Quality Inspectors
Essential Functions:

  • Company liaison for regulatory and customer compliance by staying up to date with latest requirements to meet Quality regulations.
  • Working cross functionally within the Quality Department, to prepare, maintain all quality manuals, procedures, forms, and training as it relates to various regulatory and quality standards.
  • Leads in continuous improvement activities, organizing and completing investigations, with departments involved and drives resolution with quality issues.
  • Conduct internal audits and audit training programs as required.
  • Responsible for inspections, first article, customer-required, as needed.
  • Maintaining KPIs such as Quality Goals, or company initiatives (itps’s, quality plan, and quality agreements).
  • Responsible for Quality Inspection and regulatory documents such as inspection reports, calibration records, NCRs, and Corrective / Preventative action (CAPAs in QMS software. IMSXpress.
  • Maintain customer documentation for internal records, Device History, and manufacturing files.
  • Train and Develop QC inspectors and oversee daily operations to meet production schedule.
  • Work cross functionally with sales, engineering, and production departments to meet all QC standards for Alloy Engineering.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:Competencies and Attributes Needed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Experience in Quality or Manufacturing settings with NDT & CWI certifications
  • 3+ years of Supervisory experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem solving / analysis.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit, stand, climb stairs daily.
  • Lift at least 50 pounds
  • Standard shift is ten hours per day, with Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required.
  • Periods of stress may occur.
