Job Description Summary
The Process Quality Engineer is the quality expert and a key role in the parts NCR/RMA process. Primary focus is Power NCR/RMA correction and containment with additional responsibilities to drive continuous improvement projects (PSR, RCA, CIM) and support auditing activities. Essential Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, and implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects, alone or as part of a multifunctional team, to drive customer satisfaction and business productivity
- Support all regions for NCRs, RMAs, escaping defects
- Drive continuous improvement and problem solving through PSRs, RCAs and CIMs
- Maintain and audit the quality system established by the QMS
- Support and/or coordinate cross functional team efforts
- Interface with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Order Management, Inventory, Sales, Six Sigma, IT, and Traditional Quality
- Present analysis and recommendations proactively to staff level
- Follow EHS rules and warn others to follow the rules, execute mandatory EHS trainings and immediately report the incidents and near misses as required.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- Strong experience in a quality, operations, or engineering role

Desired Characteristics
- Parts or Supply Chain related experience
- Understanding of Parts IT systems (Oracle, PowerMax, Power NCR)
- Technical or Quality background
- Demonstrable problem-solving abilities in a cross functional team environment
- Practiced in Lean Problem-Solving Methodology
- Proven track record of project management
- Experience working in a global cross functional environment
- Strong Management Experience; strategic thinking and problem solving
- Ability to comprehend technical documentation
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to organize / manage competing priorities
- GB certification (GE Internal Only)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
