The Role


We are excited to attract a Quality Manager who has proven leadership skills to help shape a high-performing team towards operational excellence. This position will report to our Plant Manager and will be responsible for providing technical and quality direction and overseeing all aspects of our quality and technical production process.


Job Responsibilities


Knowledge:

  • Ensure adherence to all environmental, health and safety guidelines.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality standard operating procedures.
  • Implement and maintain a QMS - Quality Management System aligned with corporate QMS guidelines.
  • Ability to develop and execute processes to comply with ISO-9001:2015 standards.
  • Understanding of all products being produced in facility in relation to all technical data, and performance on customers’ equipment.
  • Direct the tracking of defects, test results, or other regularly reported quality control data.
  • Instruct staff in quality control and analytical procedures.
  • Document testing procedures, methodologies, or criteria.
  • Ability to create department key performance Indicators and mentor and develop team.
  • Produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analyses, or quality trends.
  • Interface with Customers to review and confirm quality complaints, and provide related RCFAs and Corrective actions.
  • Review statistical studies, technological advances, or regulatory standards and trends to stay abreast of issues in the field of quality control.
  • Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management or staff.

Education & Experience

  • Experience implementing quality management systems compliant with ISO9001:2015.
  • Building envelope products, paper or plastics industry experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of QA/QC manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
  • Six sigma certification is preferred.
