JOB DESCRIPTION:

Medical manufacturer in the south metro seeking Quality Technician with machining background. We are seeking highly capable candidates with experience / education in mechanical inspection of precision machined components.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspections related to the manufacturing of machined parts. You will work closely with shop personnel, engineers, supplier management and other inspectors.

• Support production quality
• Perform inspections of machine set-ups
• Perform routine in-process and final inspections
• Troubleshoot inspection problems
• Create quality documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient with inspection tools
• Broad and deep knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques
• Able to provide technical feedback to machine operators
• Solid foundation with inspection lab and calibration protocols
• Relevant industry quality experience
• Proficient at print reading (GD&T)
• Knowledge of precision machining processes and practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Background with modern machining technology
• Degree from technical college
• CMM (PCDMIS) and Vision (Keyence) programming experience
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FAI
• Familiar with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISIO 13485 )
• Comfortable interpreting industry standards (MIL, SAE, ASTM, Govt.)

Full time Monday thru Thursday for 1st shift (Will also consider Mon. - Thu. Part- time Shift)

Competitive Pay (OT is available)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
