Responsibilities
The Quality Improvement - Data Specialist is responsible for all aspects of data collection, data entry, data management and reporting as it relates to mandatory reporting requirements and any other organizationally supported data programs. This position works cooperatively with management, staff, and physicians to enter accurate data into applicable billing systems, databases, clinical registries, and other analytical systems/tools. Develops processes for monitoring for compliance/data integrity, produces data reports, and analyzes results of that data Interacts with nursing, administration and physicians to provide data, and associated learning opportunities. In addition, the Quality Improvement Data Specialist will be responsible for scheduling all new hire interviews, assist with conducting interviews and assisting with FTE management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field preferred. Background in medical terminology including anatomy, pharmacology, diagnosis, and surgical procedures.
Knowledge and experience in analytical techniques and information systems, including spreadsheets/databases, and use of statistical process control required. Experience in an integrated hospital and clinic systems preferred. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Knowledge of computer applications such as Work, Excel, Access, Tableau, and Crystal. Knowledge of medical terminology. Strong communication, human relations, and organizational skills. Knowledge and experience in one or more improvement methodologies (e.g., PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma). Must be able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously with efficiency. Attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Day shift hours Expectation is to be on site 1-2 days per week with the option of working from home the other days. Can be at any NWWI location Eau Claire, Osseo, Menomonie, Barron, Bloomer for the on-site days.
