How you’ll make an impact:
As part of the Tools and Test Development team, the Quality Engineer will help run and analyze test scripts in order to help identify issues throughout the testing toolchain. The engineer will utilize their experience in debugging and investigating test results in order to help identify the root causes of failures.

What you’ll do:
The Quality Engineer will work closely with the software tools developers and test developers to identify fixes and improvements in the test framework toolchain. The engineer will also work with our OEM Applications team and partners to understand the unique qualities of each product.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences, software engineering, electrical engineer or equivalent

• Minimum 3-5 years engineering experience

• Experience in software testing and analysis

• Experience debugging and troubleshooting

• Experience in Ticket Creation/Bug Tracking tools (Bugzilla, JIRA, etc.)

• MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

• PC hardware architecture, including USB etc.

• Experience with git, or similar source control preferred

• Scripting language experience (Ruby, Perl, Python) is preferred

• Experience with Android systems (ADB) preferred

• Good public speaking and presentation skills.

• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.

• Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles.
