Summary:
- will use strong problem-solving skills to perform Root Cause analysis and Corrective Actions to reduce COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) including non-conforming products, scrap, reworks and FPY (First Pass Yield).
- Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer will also perform quality tasks.

- data analysis and lead/participate in various process improvement and Kaizen events.
- BS in Engineering with 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Operations, Production and/or Design Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aerospace industry
- Knowledge of AS9100D standard requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- In depth knowledge of Quality Engineering processes and tools including; PPAP (Process flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process capability studies, GR&R), RCCA, APQP. SPC and AS9102 FAIR
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts. Black Belt or Green Belt certifications preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in assembly, welding, machine shop and testing processes
- Experience in creating Work Instructions and Quality Control Plans
- Strong organizational, teamwork and decision-making skills
- Proficiency on Microsoft Office applications

Equal Pay Act Range: $87,400 - $130,800/Yr
