Quality Control Technician
KROHNE

KROHNE is seeking a Quality Control Technician who will assist in inspection and approval of instrumentation components and finished products. Utilizing CMM and different tools and techniques, the Quality Control Technician will help ensure that only the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.

Quality Control Technician Qualifications and Skills
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline a plus; minimum 5 years’ manufacturing experience and CMM operator experience required
  • Experience with inspection tools/equipment (Calipers, micrometers, multimeters) required
  • Experience programming CMMs and Visual Inspection Systems a plus; 3D CAD experience a plus
  • Applied knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing; knowledge of modern quality concepts, application, and implementation including Lean Manufacturing and 6S
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System; knowledge of ISO9001 preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel, ERP systems, and other analysis software tools
  • Well-organized, analytical, data driven, and results oriented
  • Assertive and self-motivated; able to be effective with minimal supervision

Quality Control Technician
Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect incoming material for dimensional, visual, and material specifications
  • Program inspection equipment
  • Read drawings and material certifications to verify products; participate in Material Review Board
  • Perform final quality control inspections; implement internal and external corrective actions
  • Assist in the calibration of monitoring and measuring devices
  • Process customer complaints; provide quality documentation/certificates to customers
  • Maintain quality records and material certificates
  • Administrate the non-conforming material review process
  • Enforce the principles of full traceability of products and components
  • Train personnel on quality concepts, methodology, and tools
  • Monitor and dispose of expired materials
