Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Technician, Auditor role will encompass in part or in whole the below stated responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Internal Auditor:

  • Conduct Internal Audits based on existing company documentation
  • Conduct contract audits. This requires knowledge of federal contracts, FARs, State & Federal regulations, and statutes
  • Maintain audit schedule
  • Create audit packets
  • Prepare audit checklists/questionnaires, reports and summaries
  • Perform follow-up audits
  • Initiate corrective actions for any non-conformances found

Support Activities:

  • Document Control
  • Cleaning Validation
  • Calibration and Equipment Qualification

ISO:

  • Assist in the maintenance of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015)

FDA:

  • Assist in maintaining an FDA compliant documentation system to the Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP's)

Other Duties:

  • Complies with and assists other employees in understanding and complying with TAB's policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of production process, quality assurance, and other techniques for ensuring compliance to the Company's Quality Management System
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Technical writing
  • Knowledge of auditing practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot, resulting in meaningful solutions
  • Strong knowledge in quality assurance analytics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ethics and discretion with confidential or sensitive information
  • Able to read, comprehend and understand information and ideas presented in writing or in alternative form
  • Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
  • Able to communicate information effectively through various mediums
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • None

Communication & Contacts Required

  • Employees, departments, managers, executives, vendors, community members, external auditors

Decision Making/Judgment Required

  • Makes decisions as per Standard Operation Procedures and Company Policies

Minimum Education and Experience


  • High School diploma
  • Two years of college or experience in a related field is preferred

Physical Requirements

With or without reasonable accommodation, employees in this position must be able to:

  • Prolonged periods of working on a computer
  • Ability to be in a stationary position (stand/sit) for 7-8 hours
  • Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs. at times
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, adjust position for 20% of time
  • Ability to work in conditions with varying temperature, including cold and/or heat
