JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for collecting and tracking quality data for Blue Ridge Medical Group on a regular basis. Assist with implementing quality goals and patient safety program. Attend monthly quality and safety meetings and cascading this information to BRMG.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, CMA from an AAMA accredited program or emergency medical technician- Paramedic
Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in a physician practice. Proficient in EHR, CPOE entry, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
License/Registration: Current NC license - Registered Nurse, or Current Certified Medical Assistant or current Emergency Medicine Technician- Paramedic
Other: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with people of varying backgrounds and education. Thorough knowledge of HEDIS standards for Quality implementation.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires range of motion with functional limits. Frequent sitting/walking/standing. Exit/enter and drive motor vehicle. Lifting and carrying 15 pounds. Vision and hearing within normal range. Requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Either hand may be used for functional tasks. Functional vision and hearing
