JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Document Control responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

 Review and maintain change control documentation in accordance with internal procedures.

 Review and file completed batch records and finished goods work order.

 Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and support Supplier Qualification program.

 Manage training matrix, scan and file training records.

 Provide support to Quality department in information gathering, pulling sample retains and related activities.

 Assists in reviewing finished goods and bulk certificate of analysis received from the 3rd party lab and follow-up results, as needed.

 Assist in filling out and/or reviewing the forms submitted to the 3rd party lab.

 Assist in issuing certificate of analysis for bulk and finished goods as needed.

 Maintain an awareness of cGMP, Good Lab Practices (GLP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), good housekeeping and safety in the laboratory.

 Support and enforce all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

 Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

 At least 2 years of experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Cosmetic/Pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

 Basic algebra and statistics

 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

 Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills

 Quality Control/Assurance knowledge in a cGMP environment is required

 Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage time well

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Typical Working Environment: Work will be primarily in a temperature-controlled laboratory area. Portion of work time will be spent in production area requiring the wearing of proper protective equipment and dealing with constant equipment in motion and high noise levels.

Equipment Used:

 Office Equipment: Computer, Keyboard, Copier, Fax Machine, Scanner.

Essential Physical Tasks:

 Moderate walking, standing, bending and stooping.

 Moderate period of looking at a computer screen and typing on a keyboard.

 Some cell phone and land line telephone use.

 Moderate lifting and carrying (up to 40 pounds).

 Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
