Summary of Position:

We need a talented individual to fill the role of Purchasing Clerk in Idaho Falls, ID. This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate and complete purchase orders for supplies, materials, and raw goods. Also working closely with multiple departments by placing orders, ensuring that purchases are recorded at the time of request, and submitting these orders to get approval from the department or from the purchasing manager.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares accurate and complete purchase orders
• Schedule incoming and outgoing shipments
• Support vendor relations and profitability
• Maintain detailed purchase records
• Manage inventory
• Obtain forecasts and projections
• Create and maintain excel spreadsheets
• Emphasis on packaging orders and inventory

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Detail Oriented
• Quick Learner
• Must have great organizational skills
  
• Basic mathematical skills
• Proficiency with computers
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Oral and written communication skills
• Great client service skills
• The ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment independently and as a team
• Famous experience is a plus
