Overview:

Campbell Supply Co. is seeking the most qualified person for the Purchasing Agent position in Iowa Falls. This position will be working in the purchasing department. The candidate needs to be an detailed, hard-working individual who works to serve our customers. This individual will monitor demand and supply for proper inventory levels to service our customers and stores. This person will play an integral role in inventory planning. This will be a cross branch position, supporting Cedar Rapids, Sioux City, and Waterloo stores.

Skills we seek:

· 2-5 years of analytical and problem solving related experience

· Exhibit interpersonal skills/ willingness to be part of the solution to solve complex problems

· Organized, detailed and can effectively multitask and prioritize work demands

· AA or BS preferred, but not required

· Experience in operations management, economics, or purchasing

· Demonstrated ability to quickly study and learn new products/ systems/ customers

Job Responsibilities/Expectations:

· Maintain system planning parameters

· Working with the purchasing manager to ensure systems and inventory are proper

· Strong technology skills, experience in Excel

· Analyze inventory levels, monitor and adjust forecasts to meet changing customer needs

· Utilize system reports as well as experience and judgement to meet purchasing requirements

· Daily communication with co-workers regarding customer and/or sales issues

· Excellent attendance and reliability

· Ability to pass CSC background check
