Overview:
Registration as a Professional Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in
Public Health Nurse is needed part-time at the Middlesex College. Right now it would be 2 days a week (14 hrs) with the ability to take on more days as needed (3 days). Below is a description of the position. It would be a Registered Nurse (public health nurse title civil service). The salary would be between $ 33.00- 35.00 per hour no benefits.
Responsibilities:
Duties include:
monitoring health tech students requirements via Castle Branch system- Vaccines administration as ordered/required
- Workman’s comp (writes reports and sends person to comp)
- Responds to incidents (illness/injury) on campus with police
- Athletic pre-physicals
- Walk-ins
- Annual state report (immunizations)
- Bloodborne pathogen exposures
- Protocols, reviews annually for physician review
- Monitors TB exposure (health tech)
- Health promotions/questions
- Works with manager if immunization questions arise
LICENSE:
Registration as a Professional Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in
New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee
mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
