Overall Job Function: Working in the center of our product flow you are part of contributing to the customer experience and customer satisfaction, in Store and/or Online. As part of the Distribution Centre operations, you embrace the H&M values, policies and the logistics way of working. You play an important role in securing operational excellence, quality, and efficiency in a sustainable way for our customers, in all brands and channels connected to your DC.

Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Colleagues: You contribute to great teamwork by working together with colleagues in your team, and in all departments at the DC, to reach the overall, as well as local logistic goals.

  • Share knowledge, skills and information with colleagues.
  • Always act in a professional manner and act as a role model for our company values, policies and procedures.
  • Actively look for information and ask for help and feedback.
  • Support great on-boarding for new colleagues joining.
  • Provides help across departments to reach DC goals.

Customer: Fulfil the customer promise at all times, providing great service to our customers in store and/or online.

You follow all required H&M procedures, routines and way of working in all areas of the DC to reach logistic KPI´s and sales targets.

  • Make sure you are aware and updated on the DC as well as department goals and strive to achieve them.
  • Be up to date with sales activities and product campaigns to reach result.
  • Recognize and act on opportunities driving result i.e. efficient and effective product flow.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize what is most important.
  • Ensure an accurate and high-quality product flow to ensure the customers receive requested products, in store and/or online at the right time and quantities.
  • Ensure great product care.
  • Keep the DC environment clean and tidy to support operational excellence
  • Follow all procedures regarding safety, security and other processes and policies in all areas of the DC.

Conscious: Actively reduce our environmental impact.

  • Keep yourself updated on ongoing sustainability initiatives, e.g. recycling, garment collecting.
  • Make conscious choices, working smart and support energy saving, in your everyday work.

Qualifications


Minimum Candidate Qualifications:

  • Prior warehouse experience preferred
  • Basic English language skills preferred
  • Ability to move or transport materials weighing up to 50 lbs. may be required
  • Extended stationary and/or movement during shifts lasting up to 8 hours, and frequently positioning in squatting, bending, reaching, and pushing/pulling motion.
  • May be required to operate a strapping machine, conveyor equipment, scanning gun, as well as other tools
  • May be required to operate carts, hand trucks, manual jacks, and other equipment to move large quantities of product
