Job Summary:
This part-time 100% remote role will report to the Marketing Communications Manager and will assist with various Marketing and Communication projects and initiatives, both internal and external facing, across multiple platforms and formats. The position will work alongside Marketing Specialists and Managers across all Mindray North America modalities – Ultrasound, Patient Monitoring, and Life Support. They will work closely with the Marketing Communications Manager, Content marketing Specialist, and Digital Marketing Specialist.
We’re looking for a collaborative, results-oriented professional with a passion for healthcare and a want to gain experience in numerous marketing and communications areas, including content creation, graphic design, digital marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, tradeshow marketing, web management, etc.
The ideal candidate will work four days a week (Mon. - Thurs.) for 5-6 hours a day (20-24 hours a week).
Essential Functions:
- Assist with web projects as needed. Including web migration
- Assist with content mapping for the web
- Schedule social media posts in Hootsuite
- Create graphics in Canva
- Coordinate web requests with external web vendor
- Upload documents to the web
- Upload videos to YouTube
- Assist with updating the Mindray Style Guide
- Assist with organizing SharePoint folders
- Assist with Marketing efforts to support tradeshows (QR codes, templates, graphics, etc.)
- Create and track UTM codes
- Assist with project tracking and coordinating to ensure projects keep moving in a timely manor
- Assist and coordinate webinar activities
- Create copy as needed (promos, flyers, emails, etc.)
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to repurpose and promote existing content
- Stay up to date with new technologies, industry trends, and research to guide and develop corresponding marketing and communications materials
- Proofreading and editing content
- Research marketing, communications, and healthcare trends as needed
- Assist team with other duties and special projects as needed
Position Specifications:
Knowledge/Educational Requirements
- BS/BA in Communications, Marketing, Business, Writing, Journalism, or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Highly creative and resourceful self-starter with the ability to work independently and a can-do attitude
- Strong PC skills are required, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Office365, project management, and proofing software(s)
- Secretarial and administrative skills with 1-3 years of experience in Marketing administration desired
- Understanding of and experience working in the healthcare space (preferred)
