Key Responsibilities

• Prototype Machine Shop

• Manage six to ten machinists and Engineering Support personnel

• Estimate hours required to complete machining jobs

• Order raw material

• Order tools and sundries

• Work directly with internal customers

• Schedule work priorities

• Resolve all issues in the prototype shop

• Engineering Material Coordinators

• Manage a small group of material coordinators

• Understand all material procurement procedures

• Provide communication between programs and material coordinator

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School diploma

• Ten years of machine shop experience

• Five years of management experience

• Full understanding of how to manufacture parts using mills and lathes

• Full understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

• Full understanding of how to inspect machine parts

• Excellent communication

WE VALUE

• A degree in engineering or management

• CAD/CAM experience

• 5S practical experience

• Ability to make decisions in a timely fashion
