Full-service third-party management company is seeking a Property Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cash Flows.
• Ensure that coding is properly entered and accounted for.
• Perform month end close processes.
• Provide monthly budget to actual reporting for Operating and development projects.
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Assist Controller with cash forecasting, reporting, and other accounting functions.
• Work with Property Management Team in managing and maintaining commercial tenant and vendor chart of accounts and ledgers.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial package to our clients.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree.
• 2+ years of experience as a Property Accountant
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Experience with general ledger functions.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Experience with Rent Manager or similar property management software a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
