PCC Marketing Manager (Mid-level)

This is an exempt salaried position that reports to the Director of Feed Products at
the corporate office. Primary responsibilities include coordinating with the
Environmental Department, Plant Managers, the Agricultural Department, and
other corporate/facility personnel to ensure that the marketing, sales, movement,
and management of Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (“PCC”) at each facility is in
accordance with all applicable regulations and in accordance with the Company
Policies regarding legal and environmental. The position also requires maintaining
accurate records for the registration of PCC in various states as well as accurate and
timely reporting of volume of PCC moved from each facility.

Objective of this role:
Develop, lead, and execute a marketing plan for PCC as a reusable material
with an overall goal of reducing stockpiled PCC at each facility.
Develop, evaluate, and research potential new uses for PCC by analyzing
statistics regarding market development, acquiring, and analyzing data, and
consulting with internal and external sources.
Present ideas and final deliverables and communicate with senior leaders
about the marketing plan, strategies, and budgets relating to the movement
of PCC.
Oversee and manage annual testing of PCC at each facility and report test
results to each state department of agriculture where PCC is registered.
Manage all registrations in various states including payment of all fees and
timely reporting of all requested and required information to maintain
compliant registration.
Construct, manage and ensure accurate records of all PCC product
movement from each facility to comply with all state or government
regulations as well as all Company policies.
Prepare and assist with the preparation of cost estimates for the
management of PCC material at each facility.
Assist with procedures and processes relating to PCC material (including
billing procedures, loading and scale procedures, and transportation
procedures) at each facility.
Establish and maintain open lines of communication, cooperation, and
coordination among other departments of the Company that will ensure

plans and programs are consistent and in accordance with the Company’s
overall objectives.
Additional Responsibilities:
Preparing on time, PCC movement reports and notifications required by
permits, other applicable regulations, or requested by regulatory agencies.
Evaluating and if necessary, recommending improvements for PCC handling
and movement through the proper management structure.
Maintain relationships with PCC material customers by organizing and
developing specific customer-relations programs and determining Company
presence at conventions, annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.
Negotiating sales contracts relating to the use and sales of PCC material
following all Company guidelines and policies.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, or
a related field or any equivalent combination of experience and training which
provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Established contacts in relevant industries.
Willingness to travel.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Above-average written and oral communication skills with the ability to
articulate detailed information clearly and concisely.
Ability to work with others in a professional and positive manager.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other
team members.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Energetic self-starter, capable to work independently but also open to and
accepting of instruction and direction from management.

Pay: $78,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
