Project Manager
ROLE
We need an experienced Project Manager for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Forms Management Program (FMP). FMP is the custodian of all official CBP Forms, under which official forms are designed, tested, approved, and posted for use by CBP employees and the general public. Your role as the Project Manager is to connect with and manage people, personalities, and motivate a team. This is a full-time opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that work and tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Overall project governance, direction, and implementing course corrections as needed
- Ensuring all CBP forms are accurate and updated as needed
- Making sure the Forms Database is accurate while validating forms’ ownership information and updated
- Reviewing customer requests for revisions and approvals for edits
- Monitoring and tracking form assignments
- Orchestrate day-to-day operations of the team
- Input all work into the Forms Master Data Sheet
- Demonstrate awareness of what each team member is working on
- Maintain awareness of all customer issues and responses to programs and customers
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Three years of Information Technology experience in Adobe, HTML and SQL experience is required
- One year of experience in project management or team lead is required
EDUCATION
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study such as Business, Program Management, or Information Technology
- Project Management Professional (or similar) certification – preferred but not required

Individual’s primary workstation is in an office area. The noise level in this environment is low to moderate. Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 80% of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc. Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the use of computer monitor screens up to 80% of the time.
