Job Profile: Black Belt Project Manager

Location: Plano, TX; Cedar Rapids, IA; Saint Peterburg, FL; Little Rock, AR

Fulltime Role with TCS

Experienced, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt Project Manager to identify, lead and implement process improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for leading Six Sigma / Quality Improvement project execution from inception to completion and communication of results
• Utilize Six Sigma tools, best practices, and innovative processes to define, coordinate, and implement change
• Responsible for promoting the Six Sigma Program and training employees on Six Sigma methodologies and tool usage
• Drive change and act as a change agent to ensure Six Sigma processes are deployed throughout the organization
• Analyze and identify process improvement opportunities and partner with key stakeholders to scope projects and ensure alignment with strategic priorities
• Champion agile and lean project management practices and make continuous improvement a priority
• Report on project progress to Champion and other appropriate leadership levels
• Prepare detailed plans to track project performance, assure timely completion, and achievement of quality and time savings goals
• Collect, organize, and analyze data to evaluate, improve, and support proposed solutions
• Continually improve workflows and maximize efficiency by eliminating impediments to organizational readiness
• Guide, navigate, and support teams through resource and/or priority changes
• Turn troubled projects around as needed

Required

• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
• At least 2-5 years of experience leading successful Six Sigma Projects
• Problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
• Written/verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities under pressure
• Ability to accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, Remote Desktop, VPN
• Good knowledge of various process improvement tools and techniques – Lean, Kaizen, SPS etc. and Statistical tool Minitab. / JMP

Strongly Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of insurance company operations

Work Location

• Hybrid, any TCS office location

• Minimal travel required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,070.57 - $112,782.80 per year
