We are looking for a hard-working, energetic, technically skilled program manager to join our team. This program manager will drive schedule and deliverables of hardware development programs involving electro-mechanical design, prototyping, laboratory testing, analysis, and manufacturing implementation. We are looking for experienced professionals who can clearly communicate with managers, co-workers, and clients.

Job Description: Project Manager

The preferred candidate comes from an engineering or other technical background. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work cross-functionally in a highly technical environment. The candidate will demonstrate experience in the product development process including design reviews, FMEA, risk mitigation, and testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed statements of work to meet product development objectives
• Create schedules and resource plans to execute projects
• Drive and actively facilitate the interaction of cross-functional stakeholders to define, status and manage project schedules, deliverables and risks
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation/contingency and track progress
• Identify resource and knowledge gaps and take steps necessary to highlight/remedy
• Write and present project updates to peers, management and clients

Requirements & Attributes:

• Bachelor's Degree in technical/engineering or business management field
• 5-8 years program management experience in electro-mechanical product development
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
• Experience following rigorous product development processes in order to ensure product quality
• Experienced in addressing client, peer, management and supplier audiences
• High level skills with MS Project (or similar), Excel, Powerpoint and Visio
• Detail oriented
• Writing skills- must be an excellent writer, able to communicate in concise statements, offering clarity and insight
• Presentation skills – Must be proficient with PowerPoint and be comfortable developing and presenting to large groups including executive management

Additional Requirements:

Previous experience in a research or product development environment is a plus.

Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Salary/Benefits

Primaira LLC is located in Woburn MA. Primaira offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits, including health insurance and a 401K plan. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $48.00 per hour
