What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the building process, from start to finish, for the commercial construction projects that we work on. This includes collaborating with engineers, architects, etc. to determine the specifications of the project, negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements, and obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities. About 70% of the projects we are responsible for, currently, are renovations and the other 30% of the projects we're responsible for are ground-up jobs.
What You Need for this Position
At least 3 years of commercial construction experience, as a Project Manager, with:
- A strong background (well-versed) in renovations and ground-up commercial construction projects
- An ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced construction environment
- An ability to be self-motivated
- An ability to jump in and work as a Project Manager with very little to no training
- Understanding of project financials and budgets
- Must live local to the Nashville, TN Area
- Experience with Procore Software is a PLUS
- A College Degree (Bachelor's or higher) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Economics and/or related areas of study is PREFERRED
- Attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
