Job description
Project Managers are responsible for simultaneously managing and directing multiple claims/jobs. Directing lead technicians in the scheduling and production phase of job(s) via work orders. The Project Manager responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for the onsite pack-out and delivery teams related to fire & water restoration. The Project manager is also responsible for turning estimates into completed work, managing job costs to ensure job profitability, managing a team of Restoration Technicians, and ensuring that the customer/contractor/adjustor is kept informed during all phases of the process.
The following duties are the responsibility of the Project Manager but are not limited to the following:
- Ability to manage and build high performing teams
· Keep all crew members on task and on time.
· Creates and maintains a schedule.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently achieve a high degree of profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure project safety and maintain quality control on all assigned projects
· Analyze estimates including monitors and creating budgets for production.
· Conducts site meetings with insurance adjusters and homeowners independently.
- Ability to communicate with insurance adjusters and a variety of customers; provide outstanding customer service and follow up
· Responsible for keeping production software accurate and up to date
Qualifications
· A minimum of 2- 3 years of restoration industry experience and managing a crew is required.
· Knowledge of restoration processes and procedures.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Xactimate preferred.
· Basic computer and cell phone skills are a must.
· Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
- Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail-oriented person)
- Ability to travel to and from various job sites throughout the local service area
· Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle with a valid Driver's License.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
