Job Title" Project Manager

Location: Eglin AFB, FL

Canvas is seeking a Project Manager! The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a project manager responsible for planning, scoping, design acquisition, construction, and direction of assigned projects for the 96 Civil Engineer Group. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Job Description: Provide advisory and assistance in support of managing and coordinating activities associated with facilities projects. Provide advisory and assistance to leadership on-site. Provide advisory and assistance in support of coordinating activities to meet the customer's requirements including, but not limited to planning and coordinating projects. Provide advisory and assistance in support of formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning use of materials and human resources. Provide advisory and assistance in support of planning, directing, and leading Facility Sustainment Restoration Modernization (FSRM) and Military Construction (MILCON) projects. Provides advisory and assistance in support of managing day-to-day operations and coordinating with contractors, contracting officers, project programming, customers, and Civil Engineering leadership. Provide advisory and assistance in support of generating documentation for pre- and post-acquisition.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing/executing multi-disciplinary projects for the construction, sustainment, restoration, and modernization of facilities.
• Knowledge of wide range of multidisciplinary engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment in the form of civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering to include a broad range of engineering, construction management, life cycle management, etc. and related assignments.
• Knowledge and application of design and construction practices and techniques establishing design parameters and preparing project justifications and specifications.
• Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited institution in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or Architecture.

Desired Experience:

• Knowledge of US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Construction Quality Management (CQM) processes and procedures.

Required Security Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain secret clearance.
