Siemens Smart Infrastructure – Electrification & Automation (EA) covers a comprehensive end-end portfolio including packaging turnkey installation and commissioning, repair, refurbishment of all OEM and non-OEM Transmission & Distribution assets including but not limited to medium and large power transformers, high voltage circuit breakers, medium and low voltage switchgear and breakers, motor control centers, and protection and control systems in all market verticals.

Overview:

As a Project Lead for our Growth in the North America region you will be crucial for the success of our ramp up in the NAM region. This position has high visibility, provides for exposure to senior management globally and high impact on our future EA success and footprint in NAM.

Your responsibilities:

  • Acts as a project manager, a consultant, and an advisor to for ramp-up activities and change management supporting growth ambitions in North America (NAM)

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute activities related to the NAM ramp up. Track progress, adjust plans as needed, and keep everyone updated throughout the process.

  • Drive capacity optimization and -ramp up for the SI EA in North America by utilizing global footprint for supply chain resources.

  • Coordinate the capacity ramp-up activities with the Operations locations as Queretaro (MXC) and Wendell (USA), as well as with the regional EA sales organizations of USA, Mexico and Canada with its full functional value add structure (i.e. Engineering, Sales, PLM, QM, etc.)

  • Collaborate across functions, regions, and business lines to drive coordinated effort and impact in strategic focus areas. Proactively engage stakeholders in the process and ensure successful execution, including involvement of relevant HQ functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, PLM, etc.)

  • Define and manage actions across the business unit workstreams to ensure timely deliverables.

  • Manage change, understanding the impact of change on employees and entire company and developing an execution roadmap to ensure successful implementation

  • project lead will be based in US (preferred) and must have the ability to travel

Your skills and experience:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferred electrical or industrial engineering.

  • Experience in managing with large scale projects within global environment & distributed teams.

  • Experience in Electrification and Automation market and business (products, systems, solutions, services) is of advantage.

  • Factory/ Operations management and/ or SCM experience is mandatory.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Results driven personality with a get things done attitude.

  • Great communication skills with the ability to influence others and move towards a common vision.

  • Experience with managing change in an organization

  • Strong intercultural understanding and ability to bridge the gaps

  • Business proficiency in English is a requirement, Spanish is an advantage
