Sentara is hiring a Project Coordinator for Emergency Management and Employee Safety at Virginia Beach General, in Virginia Beach, VA.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree OR 3-years of related experience required

1 Year related Project Management experience required

Emergency Management and Employee Safety experience strongly preferred

Healthcare and/or Hospital experience strongly preferred

Shift: Full Time, First Shift

Responsible for the creation and management of project documentation, process mapping, research, analysis, reporting and various tasks to support assigned projects and initiatives. Leads, directs, and tracks lower complexity projects. Coordinates project management calendars and administers related support services. Collaborates with key resources across the Service Lines in the identification, planning and execution of project deliverables. May be aligned to a specific functional area or support multiple projects across the Service Lines. Performs other various administrative duties for the aligned area. A Bachelors Degree and 1 year of project related experience required; OR in lieu of a degree, 3 years of project related experience. Experience in a health care, managed care or medical environment preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and Project is preferred.

• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) - Other/National

Coordinates Emergency Management and Employee Safety projects to improve overall program effectiveness.
