PROJECT COORDINATOR

BrandingIron Worldwide Inc. is looking for a Part-time Project Coordinator to join our team remotely.

ROLE SUMMARY

Under the general supervision of BIW’s VP of Creative Strategy & Design, the Project Coordinator would organize and coordinate all aspects of an ongoing project with a well known entertainment studio. The coordinator would be working and communicating with BIW designers as well as department heads of the aforementioned studio to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and on time. The incumbent would further develop and maintain project schedules, quality check project files, and provide status reports to clients and management. The ideal candidate would continually be looking at how processes can be more efficient, pinpoint potential areas of improvement, and looking at the bigger picture to keep everyone on track. Potential to turn into a full-time position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with internal project team members to align on schedule.
• Project schedule creation and management.
• Schedule and lead weekly project meetings.
• Communication of status updates, deadlines, roadblocks, and red flags to the project teams and stakeholders.
• Manage meeting agendas and notes/minutes followed up by proactive task follow up.
• Review brand/franchise guidelines and ensure conformity in design.
• Review and quality control of project assets before handing off to stakeholders for review.
• Coordination of asset deliveries and distribution.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Professional Project Management / coordination work. PMP certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of project management / coordination experience
• Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools: including Agile, Kanban, SCRUM, traditional waterfall.
• Driven, proactive, self-starter and quick learner. Never has to be asked to optimize productivity or solve a problem.
• Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail and a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
• Demonstrates a high degree of proactivity.
• Strong communicator - clearly articulate messages and context to a variety of audiences.
• Good networking and influence skills to move people at all levels in an organization toward a common goal.
• Ability to build relationships with partners, peers and stakeholders motivating others to align and drive towards best practices and objective decision making.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
• Ability to get quickly up to speed on company culture, sentiments, and context.
• Relevant general software skills (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
• Preferred experience with Airtable, or other project management tools (e.g., Trello, Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet).
• Experience in entertainment industry is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
