The Project Coordinator supports School Assessment in the successful delivery and fulfillment of assigned program(s). In this role you will need to be self-motivated, diligent, and able to meet business and project demands within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You may be responsible either for multiple projects or for one larger project within a program, which often requires multiple resources and functional integration. You should be familiar with project or program objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the Program Delivery Team. You will spend considerable time communicating with the customer and other stakeholders (vendors, cross-functional teams, subcontractors) involved in the delivery of assigned projects or programs to ensure customer satisfaction. A successful Project Coordinator will anticipate opportunities and issues proactively as well as perform other administrative duties. Finally, you should enjoy working with a diverse team of dedicated and passionate professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Internal and External Customer Relationship Management.
- Provide outstanding customer service. Be responsive and timely in responding to questions, concerns and requests.
- Serve as a point-of-contact to internal resources and internal departments for day-to-day activities as assigned.
- Serve as a point-of-contact for Client for day-to-day activities for order management, testing and reporting.
- Provide support for customer meeting planning and business unit events.
- Work to document communications, agendas, minutes, district billing, and use other systems to perform assigned tasks.
- Develop an understanding of Pearson School Assessment’s business concepts, practices and organizational structure.
- Document, write, update, and maintain procedures, specifications, and client facing ancillary materials.
- Develop and maintain status reports on a scheduled basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree desired.
- At least 6months to 1 year of commensurate experience
- Ability to analyze details, follow directions, and collaborate with others in order to effectively assist in finding solutions.
- Ability to pay close attention to details and follow necessary procedures.
- Ability to use time-management and organizational skills and effectively manage multiple, possibly changing, priorities.
- Ability to monitor and quality check project work as needed.
- Understand team dynamics and foster a positive team environment.
- High sense of urgency and attention to detail required.
- Effective verbal/written communication skills, strong listening skills and effectively escalate issue/communication.
- Significant experience in providing outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel required and MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint desired.
- Demonstrate self-motivated learning, ability to seek out trustworthy resources independently.
- Demonstrate ability to learn new software and technology tools through both formal training and self-instruction.
- Ability to handle confidential information and materials in an appropriate manner.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve non-technical issues, using support documentation and training.
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $20.00-22.00 per hour.
