Job Description:
Global Supply Chain & Strategy Projects (GSC&S Projects) is a team within GSC&S, in Global Operations, who lead Supply Chain Change Programmes initiated from regulatory and legislative changes, and strategic decisions impacting multiple regions.
In this role you will provide:
- Project Analytical support to Project Managers in the GSC&S Projects team to enable efficient and effective project, programme and portfolio management
- Adhering to the Code of Conduct and key global policies such as the Global SHE Policy, Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption Policy and People Policy is essential.
- Key accountabilities:
- Supports the Project Manager in the on-time and on-budget delivery of projects through:
- Planning and monitoring major projects through collation, maintenance and analysis of project data (e.g. actions status, scope changes, resource allocation, financial status, risk analysis, progress metrics)
- Advising the project team of deviations from plan and suggests mitigating actions
- Providing inputs & reporting for project/programme status for portfolio updates
- Preparation of presentation materials for management reports
- From time to time manage projects and sub-projects independently:
- In accordance with Project Management Framework
- Develop and manage switch plans for Supply Chain changes
- Communicates effectively at different levels and across different functions within the organization
- Establishes relationships with business stakeholders to capture business requirements and ensure their understanding and commitment to the project/programme objectives
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Business or Science degree – equivalent experience will be considered
- Ability to interrogate systems, collate, analyze, report and interpret data to support decision making
- Experience of running small projects/programmes
- Experience working with Supply Chain in a global context
- Experience of process management or working with business processes
- Understands the principles of Business Process Management and Lean principles and practices and can apply these
- Experience of working with varied stakeholders in a cross functional environment, preferably globally
Preferred Skills:
- Experience of working in Pharmaceutical Industry and / or Supply Chain experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills including influencing of global resources in a matrix organization, development of presentations and written reports
- Experience of working in Smartsheet
- Proven team player, willing to challenge and accept other views and concepts in reaching critical decisions.
- Strong initiative and motivation
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills and is able to lead mapping exercises
