Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Programmer Analyst II in Jacksonville, FL to design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards. Provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project. Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications. Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications. Maintain, test, and integrate application components. Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented. Demonstrate an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry. Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs. Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation. Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems. Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations. Conduct planning, analysis, and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks. Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. Provide leadership and guidance to other technical professionals.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: designing, installing, configuring and troubleshooting systems, software, servers, applications and network issues; setting up new environments with Windows operating systems; working with frontend frameworks including Angular or Angular JS; working with HTML, CSS to perform application building; writing cross-browser compatible code; utilizing RESTful services for exchanging information between various systems; performing marshalling/un-marshalling with JavaScript DOM manipulation Technologies; tracking code with tools including GitLab/Bitbucket, IBM WebSphere Application server, and IBM HTTP server; providing technical support for web-based payment platform applications, servers and network infrastructures; and working with application performance monitoring and analytical tools including Splunk and OpenShift. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. 20% travel required.
