A thriving latex company in Akron is seeking a Production Operator to join the team!

Pay: $16.00 per hour
Shift: Day Shift Monday – Friday
7:30am – 6:00pm (during production)
6:00am – 2:30pm (on down days)
No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays

This position monitors production and keeps restocking/refilling material as needed

Main Job Duties Include:
1. Clears finish product from manufacturing line
2. Prepares QC samples
3. Monitors product quality
4. Boxes and stores material for quality review
5. Documents Production Conditions
6. Cleans and Maintains Area
7. Ensure production environment is maintained during shift
8. Ability to fill out production records
9. Adhere to preventative maintenance schedules for production line

Skills Required:

• Background Check and Drug Screen
• High School Diploma / G.E.D.
• Good math (including metric) and reading skills along with English fluency

Must be willing to cross train in other areas, if things are slow.

Requirments:

• Must be able to stand 8 hours per day
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently
• Must be open to wearing multiple hats and being cross trained
• Hot in the summer, warm in the winter

Training: Onboarding orientation is completed on the first day, safety training is conducted then you are moved to the floor to start one on one training with a seasoned member of the team
