Eagle Brook Church is a multi-site church looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Production Systems Engineer to join our Technology team located at our Operations Center. This person will design, implement, and support our multi-site production technology infrastructure. Someone trained and experienced in audio, video, lighting, and broadcast system technology will thrive in this position. Production Systems Engineer (video focus) // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH

POSITION SUMMARY

Works together as a member of the Production Systems team to design, implement, and support Eagle Brook Church’s production technology systems. These systems include broadcast video, multi-campus video transport, production audio, production lighting, and associated infrastructure in Eagle Brook auditoriums, Kids Ministry environments, meeting, and office spaces. This specific position on the team will focus primarily on Lighting systems but will share responsibility for and be required to obtain working knowledge of all production systems. Reports to the Production Systems and Support Manager.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sets design and engineering standards of assigned production systems across all locations
• Serves as subject matter expert on design, implementation, and oversight for assigned production systems to support expansion and capital projects
• Uses judgement and decision-making skills to solve complex production technology issues for all locations
• Partners with the Infrastructure team to manage and maintain standards for network and end-point equipment
• Works with the Production Support team to provide technical training for staff on new systems and technologies
• Evaluates emerging production technologies and trends, adjusting engineering standards as necessary
• Provides multi-campus leadership and technical support of operations in the Technical Operations Center
• Supports campus teams during execution of services and events
• Acts as a Tier III escalation point for troubleshooting and resolution of campus technical issues
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates or Technical degree with certification; or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 5+ years) preferred
• 5+ years of experience with technical equipment preventative maintenance/troubleshooting
• 2+ years of experience with computer networking
• Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefs
• Advanced knowledge and ability to operate and troubleshoot technical equipment within Lighting systems. Ability to learn basic operation and troubleshooting of all production systems within one year.
• Develops and enforces preventative maintenance standards across the organization
• Ability to lead projects, meet deadlines, and have strong decision-making skills
• Ability to engineer production systems from the ground up
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and build strong working relationships
• Ability to engineer and create line drawings within AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lead system installations from concept through post installation operations
• Self-starter with strong personal organization and time management skills

WORK SCHEDULE

Generally, works during weekend services and three weekdays (schedule is different depending on functional assignment). This may at times include Student Ministries on Wednesday night and occasional other evenings for special events. Member of the Production Technology On-Call Support Team. Expected to work 45+ weekends/year.
