Job Description:

L3Harris corporation is seeking a dynamic Production Planning Support team member for Payload Assembly Integration and Test activities in deliver mission critical space sensors. Role will have an immediate impact on the future of responsive space, by coordinating products and materials through various productions phases to rapidly field highly reliable lifesaving optical payloads.

Essential Functions:

• Work with Production Planner to ensure materials and parts are available on time according to schedule needs
• Collect and analyze data to prepare recommendations to meet internal and external demands for materials and finished goods
• Expedite flow of materials, parts and assemblies within or between projects in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
• Releases work orders to production floor based on internal master schedule
• Must be able to communicate clearly (written and verbal) to technical and non-technical internal customers

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Strong results and goal/deadline-oriented work ethic, high attention to detail and be flexible
• Organizational skills, with the ability to develop and bring to completion multiple assignments concurrently
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, highly proficient in Excel (e.g., Excel formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables) and has skill in preparing tables, graphs, and charts
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and peers
