Currently we are looking for a Production Planner to join our team who will be responsible for managing and coordinating the production schedule. The main role is to create and maintain a production plan that optimizes the use of resources and maximizing timely delivery of products.

The primary responsibilities of a production planner include:

  • Developing production schedules and ensuring that they are aligned with sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Collaborating with various departments, including sales, operations, and procurement, to determine production requirements and resource availability.
  • Analyzing production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes to increase efficiency.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that raw materials and finished goods are available to meet production schedules.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Maintaining accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and production data.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of data in the ERP system, including inventory levels, order information, and production schedules.
  • Collaborating with IT teams and software vendors to troubleshoot issues and make necessary updates to the system.
  • Providing training to other employees on how to use the ERP system, including best practices for data entry and reporting.

To be successful in this role, a production planner should have excellent organizational and time-management skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. They should also have a strong understanding of production processes and logistics, as well as experience working with production planning software and tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
