For our Ammeraal Beltech and AMMEGA team, we are currently looking for a Production Planner to join a start-up facility.

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating production activities for the manufacturing unit. You will report to Operations Manager and be part of the Buford operations team. In this role, you will be based in Buford, Georgia.

A day in the life of a Production Planner can look like

  • Planning the work for the manufacturing unit, and having a direct impact on on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Reading work orders, production schedules, reports and other related documents to determine production requirements and evaluate the current production capability.
  • Effectively communicating with various departments and internal stakeholders to ensure that all the needed information is on the order to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Completing order analysis, reviewing accuracy of information, flow and inventory.
  • Providing the production team with the required information including drawings, BOMs, special tooling and process notes.
  • Reviewing the daily back-order report, assuring that the customer back-orders are visible and proper allocations are made.

We are looking for you to have (choose what is applicable, keep it simple)

  • 3-5 years in planning/scheduling
  • 2 or 4 year degree
  • APCIS Certification a plus
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, e-mail, database).
  • AS400/CRM/ERP/MSRP experience a plus
  • Must be able to work in the US
