At our Banks Crossing facility, we are part of the Meat division where we create hundreds of different products for Kerry and our retail customers. If you’re looking to build a career in manufacturing with a team you can have some fun with, we might be the team for you. We are looking for someone to help us keep things running!


We have an immediate opening for a 3rd Shift Production Operator.


Schedule: Sunday - Thursday nights from 11pm - 7:00am with the flexibility to work overtime as needed.


On occasion you may come in early Sunday night and work a 12-hour shift, usually 7:00pm - 7:00am.


Shift Differential: $1.20 for working 3rd shift!

What you'll do:


As a Production Operator, you will be a key component to our team! You will report directly to the Production Supervisor, and you'll be responsible for 5 steps: Set up of processing equipment, start-up of equipment, production of product, breakdown of equipment and cleaning. This position is very repetitious and requires PPE to be worn and the environment to remain clean and sanitized. You must use your knowledge of machinery to be able to operate all processing equipment. You will also be responsible for following Kerry's high safety standards regarding our products and our employees!


Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Measure ingredients and place in tanks
  • Adhere to all GMPs and Food Safety requirements
  • Handle chemicals and cleaning equipment/CIP (Cleaning In Place)
  • Clean equipment and work areas per Sanitation SOPs as needed.
  • Ability to set-up machines which includes confirming sanitation is complete.
  • Obtaining Quality approval to run.
  • Operate equipment per SOP and Work Instructions
  • Start Up and Shut Down of equipment
  • Minor trouble shooting of equipment
  • Ability to understand parameters for different recipes used in processing
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Operate in accordance with safety, quality and environmental standards.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months – 1 year of Production experience is a plus - food production experience is preferred.
  • Sanitation experience a plus
  • Are you already familiar with the manufacturing environment? Great! Your previous knowledge will make your transition to our team a breeze!
