Production Lead

National manufacturing and distribution company seeking a highly motivated and organized Production Lead at our Carrollton, TX facility.

Qualifications/Criteria:

• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of successful production supervision or leadership experience preferably in the manufacturing environment.

Job Description (Duties and Responsibilities):

• Conducts production safety and training for all shift personnel.
• Supervises and train production operators in proper procedures to obtain better results and record/report production data.
• Monitor production quality and interprets work orders to shift personnel.
• Leads and assists shift employees in resolving production problems.
• Evaluate and determine root cause of production issues and develop corrective actions with troubleshooting process.
• Reviews and understands production schedule provided by supervisor, then work with supervisor and management to coordinate workforces accordingly.
• Checks and ensures product quality and specifications are being met with standard QC/QA process and requirements.
• Initiates/suggests methods to motivate employees to achieve goals and better results.
• Ensures the accuracy and submission of production paperwork on daily basis.
• Suggests plans or changes in labor utilization, production procedures, and materials to increase production efficiency.
