Overview:
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for gathering and understanding customer needs and industry requirements, and then conceptualizing them as a feature roadmap. This will require collaboration with potential and existing customers as well as internal automation stakeholders. Your success and the success of the product will go hand-in-hand as you partner with the software development manager to execute the roadmap and adjust priorities with inevitable changes in the business and industry landscape.

I-Control is Interstates’ premier platform for scalable, door-to-door batch automation. It is designed specifically for the feed, flour, and pet food industries. With I-Control, our clients get a number of benefits to their facility including optimized operations, industry regulation compliance, accessible production data, and reduced total cost of ownership of plant automation.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage key account efforts while being the clients “trusted advisor” to provide premium value to our clients.
- Drive product development through the entire development cycle,
- Partner with the development team to improve internal processes continuously and incrementally.
- Prioritize development of enhancements, future features, bug fixes and gaps
- Maintain a product roadmap that brings value to clients through a periodic release schedule.
- Facilitate product decisions and recommendations that have a value impact on our clients.
- Direct and set the tone of our communication with clients during and after projects.
- Use and continuously improve product installation to plan and deliver project successfully.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Product Management success in delivering products/services in a growing environment.
- Product Management certification preferred.
- Manufacturing/Industrial Knowledge or Experience is a plus.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel: Up to 35%.
- Able to work out of our Sioux Falls, SD or Omaha, NE, or Sioux Center, IA offices.
