Ferguson is actively hiring for a Product Data Specialist on their Enterprise Product Data Team!

Job Duties

Research, validate, and standardize data to support customer needs and company growth objectives

Communicates internally and with third parties to provide feedback & recommend business process changes

Applies critical thinking in reviewing vendor/third-party provided data in various formats for accuracy

Understand internal and external customer data needs and expectations for information

Ensure data collected supports the needs of stakeholders

Perform recurring and ad hoc audits to ensure enrichment of key data gaps and to support online presentation

Support channel-specific business needs

Perform complex ad hoc audits to identify discrepant/invalid data

Recommend business processes and process changes to ensure population of valid and standardized data points

Maintain quality control processes for managing data

Serve as gatekeeper for enriched content

Assist in training and development of entry-level associates

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Bachelors Degree in a business field or equivalent work experience preferred

1-2 years relevant work experience preferred

Minimum of 3 years experience working with/manipulating data required

Solid understanding of and experience working in an MDM and/or PIM system required

Proficiency in Excel required

Demonostrated ability to complete established goals with limited guidance

Exhibits attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills to include use of proper grammar and punctuation

Exhibits awareness of data governance/management concepts

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
