We are hiring enthusiastic, problem-solving individuals to join our Produce Department as a Produce Clerk. The ideal candidate is an expert at locating and stacking produce items and an excellent communicator who can answer customer questions while staying on task and maintaining inventory. Also, candidates must be able to follow directions and work in a team environment while following quality control guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Keep track of inventory, and make sure store is fully stocked.
- Answer customers' questions, respond to customer complaints, and process special requests.
- Set up displays to attract customers' attention.
- Know and comply with food safety regulations.
- Communicate with other staff in the store to coordinate sales promotions and daily sales.
- Follow cashiering procedures.
- Learn new products to help sell them to customers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.84 - $21.15 per hour
