POSITION SUMMARY

Working under the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring a continuous flow of high-quality raw material into the coater and monitoring the production line. Additionally, the PCT is accountable for ensuring all work/tasks are executed in a timely manner and in compliance with all quality/accuracy standards. Team members in this position will gain experience in Coater control and operations

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all job functions in a safe manner & ensure that View is a safe healthy working environment.
• Ensure flawless loading of Production glass in carriers being prepped for the Coater.
• Ensure all glass being loaded in the Clean room meets spec.
• Monitor the line and ensure material is always flowing through.
• Use the system to build & move carriers and individual lites on all lines.
• Use loading carriers, reading lite ID's and reading process conditions.
• Support Coater PM to ensure Coater can be returned into a Productive state as quickly as possible.
• Ensure overall production efficiency and productivity is met.
• Demonstrate an understanding of chip/scratch and laser placement specs.
• Work with Engineering team to assist in operations, development, documentation & troubleshooting.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts while wearing required PPE.
• Ability to physically push, pull and lift up to 180 pounds with a partner, up to 12 hours a day.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in production or manufacturing environment
• Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated initiative in providing input for safety and process improvements
• Be a highly self-motivated, team-player with a positive attitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Ability to physically push, pull and lift heavy loads; ability to be on feet for 12 hours
• Must be flexible with respect to job roles and working hours

EDUCATION

High school diploma, or equivalent, combined with required production experience
