Job description

We are a small Christian preschool seeking teachers who are of a like faith. We are looking to hire a teacher to care for our infants aged 3-12 months, as well as someone to teach in our 2 yr. old room. Our class ratios are well below DCF standards. Qualified teachers will as follows:

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and trusting environment

• Plan and implement lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate (we use Wee Learn Curriculum)
• Clean and sanitize the classroom as well as toys daily
• Have completed a Level II background check before hiring (preferred)
• Have completed the DCF required 45-hr childcare training (preferred)
• Have experience working in a childcare setting
• Teach and model Christ like behavior
• Free to begin working a.s.a.p

Pay rate is determined by experience and education.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Working in a childcare classroom: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
• DCF 45 hour childcare training (Required)
