Expectations:

· Knowledge of Mac: OS 10.13.6 or higher, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro

· Knowledge of PC: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Publisher

· Printing knowledge including bleed, Pantones, CMYK, printer spreads vs. reader spreads

· Knowledge of merge or web design (not required)

· Proficient in spelling, proofreading, and the use of proper grammar

· Proficient in math and units of measurement

· Imposition

· Troubleshooting

· Positive attitude and willingness to work as a team

· Stay current with industry and competitive research

· Able to work in a fast pace, high pressure environment

· Detailed oriented

· Able to work overtime when needed

· Good communication, typing and computer skills

· Organization, prioritization and time management skills

· Must thrive in a deadline-driven work environment

· Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Layout and/or design any job that needs typesetting or design

· Layout any existing jobs that are not on backup

· Printing out proofs-laser and/or HP color proof

· Creating deadlines and sending to outsource vendors when needed

· Preflighting files when needed

· Print out any requested emailed files from Sales or Customer Service

· Email any requested PDFs/logos/files to Customer Service and clients

· Send artwork through email or posting artwork to FTP site for outside vendors

· Convert supplied artwork to printing specifications when needed

· Proofread jobs that are typeset when needed

· Work one on one with clients in-house on design projects when needed

· Scan images

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Saint Cloud, MN 56303: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
