POSITION SUMMARYReports To:Services Lead, Support StaffSummary:Responsible for providing accurate and complete input and obtain pre-certification/authorization requests and eligibility on all rehab patients to ensure reimbursement for all services rendered.Work Schedule:Must be able to work non-standard hours, 8 to 10 hr days between 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

SKILLS & ABILITIESEducationHigh School Education or GED. Two years college preferred.ExperienceSix months previous experience in customer service. Knowledge of medical coding.Computer SkillsProficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.Certificates & LicensesN/AOther RequirementsFamiliarity with medical terminology or willingness to learn.
