CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
As a Platform Engineer for the General Dynamics Mission Sysytems team driving change for the Strategic Weapon Systems for the US Navy Submarine Fleet, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and implementation of the infrastructure that will support the applications developed to meet our customer’s exacting requirements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required in a reasonable amount of time from hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:
- Container technologies such as Docker, Podman and/or LXC.
- Experience maintaining production-grade applications in virtualized environments (cloud computing platforms and services).
- Scripting/programming languages such as Bash, Python, Powershell, C/C++ and/or Java.
- Experience with DevOps platforms such as Gitlab - including the creation of reusable CI/CD pipeline automation
- Adept at flexible UI front and backend technologies to include Python, Flask, nginx

Salary Note: This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. Combined Salary Range: USD $104,900.00 - USD $116,300.00 /Yr. Company Overview:
